Sr. IS Support - Lifecycle management (Munster)

Role SO IS Support / Lifecycle Management
- Conduct Lifecycle Management of all IT systems within all 1GNC's Information Domains WRT planning, acquisition, deployment, maintenance, optimisation and retirement. This includes monitoring obsolescences and develop strategies ICCW funcd manager / G8 for upgrades and replacements.
-Support and sustain current CIS infrastructure of 1GNC Peacetime Locations (PTL) ICCW Staff Branches, subordinate units, external national and international agencies and contractors.

GNC is a multi-national Headquarter environment where military and civilians work close together (that is exempt from VAT). It contains mainly out of German and Dutch personal. Languages within the HQ (Headquarter) is mandatory English, preferable is also German and/or Dutch.

All tasks related to the job to be executed from 1GNC, Münster, Germany. Candidate should be willing to work in Münster the whole week. Kind request to also try to identify candidates that are already living in Germany, or candidates with a German background. NATO clearances are applicable. Language of instruction is English.

- Candidate has proven experience in IT-lifecycle management.
- Candidate has proven workingexperience in a multi-national environment.
- Candidate holds a certificate in ITIL Foundation.
- Candidate is proficient in English. C
- Candidate has proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Candidate had experience with and courses completed for ITSM Tool Training (for example Service Now).

Not required but preffered:

- Knowledge of strategic and tactical communications networls (esp. NLD, DEU and NATO) is preferred.
- Working experience in military divisional or corps environment is preferred.
- Experience in budget management is preferred.
- NATO Networking Infrastructure (ETOC Course ID: CCC-DC-32237) is preferred. NATO C4ISR Technology Orientation (ETOC Course ID: CCC-SM-22206) is preferred.
- MS SharePoint User Training (ETOC Course ID: CCC-ET-32336) is preferred.
- University or bachelor degree in communications and/or information science is preferred.
- Proficiency in the German language is preferred.

Location: Münster, Germany (fulltime on site)
Hours: minimum of 32 per week
The job is for minimum of 30 months.
Direct availability is not required, this job requires NATO screening which takes up about 4 - 12 weeks.
Start: when finished screening, around March, April or May. 
Hourly rate: between 70 - 90 euro (all-in / inclusing travel fees)
