Senior Data Engineer

We are hiring a Data Engineer for a dynamic and international company. You will join a team of seven other data specialists, including both Data Scientists and Data Engineers. The team operates in an informal and open environment, maintaining a down-to-earth culture despite the exciting and innovative work they deliver.

As a Data Engineer, you will play a vital role within the innovation team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining data-driven solutions in a Microsoft-oriented environment. You will work on projects aimed at improving product efficiency and design, using various technologies. The projects are diverse, and the datasets are far from standard. As a senior Data Engineer, you will also be responsible for overseeing the data architecture and managing data flows through pipelines. Furthermore, you have the ability to guide others through change, take initiative, and provide strong leadership to achieve shared goals.

• A relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field;

• At least 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer;

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, and SQL;

• Familiarity with analysis platforms and tools such as Databricks, Azure Synapse, Azure ML, and Power BI;

• Experience with Power BI is a plus;

• Professional proficiency in English, both spoken and written;

• You are motivated, proactive, and an innovative thinker.

• Salary: €5,000 – €7.000 based on 40 hours per week;

• Holiday allowance: 8.33% of the gross annual salary;

• Vacation days: 38 days (based on full-time), including 13 additional days (ATV);

• Travel expenses: €0.23/km, up to €300 per month;

• Health insurance contribution: €50 per month;
