Coordinate with the Materials Planning teams the regular inventory planning parameter review process (Safety Stock, Re-order point quantities, Lot Size, Lead-time, etc.)to establish appropriate levels for components and/or finished goods
Prepare and optimize as required (daily/weekly/monthly) reports to monitor the pertinent KPI’s around actual vs planned inventory, actual vs. targeted customer service and the demand situation. Based on the results, analyze, suggest and implement specific improvements.
Complete ad hoc analytical activities that may arise as a result of specific challenges in the forecasting, material planning or the customer service levels processes.
Apply in-depth knowledge and expertise, analytical skills, and creative thinking to ensure fact-based solutions and to modify processes in order to best meet the needs and objectives.
Identify opportunity areas, plan and implement the improvement through projects with soft or/and hard savings.
Provides management with options and recommendations for effective operations and business development strategies, based on technology advancements.
Build effective business relationship with in- and external customers
Analyzes proposed changes in operations by assessing the impact in all the supply chain aspects (materials, transportation, distribution, compliance). Prepares the relevant reports and presentations for management use.
Serve as a technical resource for the Materials team by providing technical and process expertise and guidance.
Apply, communicate and document the metrics to measure and control that the process improvements and project implementations deliver value and productivity.
Demonstrate sensitivity to the needs of the business from both a local and global viewpoint.
Familiarize with all the supply chain and productivity objectives that project management team focuses on and apply this broad knowledge on improvement initiatives that will benefit overall the department.
Use analytical skills to present recommendations on how to achieve objectives and improvements.
Create training material and document procedures to comply with new and existing business strategies, processes and policies.
Adapt to change by identifying implications of change for Rockwell Automation and own job and adjusting as needed and working with others as appropriate to implement change initiatives.
Support development of region-wide processes that ensure productive planning efforts in business segments and functional units consistent with RA requirements and strategies.

Experience required for Professional Level:
3-5 years’ experience in production and inventory control, operations, purchasing, demand management or manufacturing engineering.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required. Preferred degree in Business Administration with a Supply Chain focus, Operations or equivalent.
Excellent analytical skills are required.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel / Access (and MS Office Suite) is required.
Knowledge on SQL Queries is preferred
SAP Experience is Required (WM, PP, MM)
Modelling / optimization skills are preferred
Fluent in English
