Over de functie

The Internal Control Manager is responsible to drive sustainable cost effective compliance and apply controls to support sound decision making and optimize processes. The manager drives SOX (Sarbanes Oxley Act) compliancy, drives internal control in a changing environment and maintains internal control frameworks for ASML worldwide.

Drive and manage the SOX compliancy for certain end-to-end processes.
• Manage internal control deficiencies when / where incurred and ensure that deficiencies are timely resolved by the organization.
• Understand and describe the business processes to identify risks and controls.
• Identify and drive opportunities to improve internal control in business processes.
• Execute controls where assigned to the position.
• Participate in finance and business projects that impact internal control and standing control framework.
• Ensure access controls by managing, maintaining and validating the Segregations of Duties and Critical transactions (in SAP) for the assigned end-to-end processes.

Functie-eisen

• Master degree in Economics with completed RA Experience• 4 - 6 years relevant experience in finance or auditing.
• Audit experience at one of the big 4 audit firms or internal audit experience in international environment.
• Knowledge of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and COSO is a pre.
• Experience / knowledge of Identity & Access Management and authorizations is a pre.
• SAP / SAP security knowledge is a pre as well as experience with a technology driven organization with service offices around the world. Personal skills• Multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural understanding.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Important competencies include:
o excellent analytical skills;
o make complex topics simple and transparent;
o combines clear, critical thinking with decisiveness;
o good social and effective communication skills; is persuasive and able to influence;
o proactive / hands-on attitude;
o result effectiveness;
o overcomes barriers for change and engages others to take action.
• Expert in internal control.
