International Payroll Specialist Are you familiar with International payroll specifics? Then this might just be the perfect job for you!
In this position, you will be part of a fun and international team, consisting of four colleagues who manage the payroll for all our European offices. You will be responsible for managing fully outsourced European payrolls, with different deadlines throughout the month. Your daily tasks will include:
Managing the full payroll cycle for your respective countries, processing and validating input and output
Attending to payroll specific queries from employees and business partners
Maintaining an excellent relationship with the payroll provider and your business partners
Ensuring the timely payment of salaries, social security & taxes
Coordinating with the Finance Department relating to payroll bookings
Safeguarding payroll procedures & internal controls and assisting in requests from Audit partners

It hosts a diverse mix of commercial functions (Sales, Customer Marketing, Customer Services, Consumer Products) as well as support functions (Finance, IT, Procurement, Legal, Product Integrity, HR, Logistics).
For this position you need to have at least 1-3 years of experience in international payroll and it is beneficial to speak besides English two other European languages.

Excellent English language skills
Good Italian language skills preferred
Integrity (working with highly confidential information)
Strong attention to detail
Great interpersonal and communication skills (a large part of your job is following up with our partners and handling questions)
Able to work well in an environment with multiple payrolls and varying deadlines
Solid Excel knowledge to master the most commonly used functions
Knowledge of the Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Turkish, Russian, Greek or UK payroll is considered a plus.
We offer a fulltime (40 hours, minimum 32 hours per week) temporary (approx. 7 months) position with a competitive salary. At Mattel we deeply value a healthy work-life balance.
