We are seeking an AV Support Specialist to assist in the management of AV operations and application support at our client local offices. This position is responsible formaintaining quality AV services and driving change for the business. Our goal is to deliver excellent technical support with outstanding customer service and timeliness. This position is part of the IT team, so ideal candidates are passionate about technology, highly skilled at providing amazing customer service, and have the ability to thrive in a fast paced and highpressure environment.
Responsibilities ● Troubleshoot escalated AV tickets for issues found in remote offices. ● Manage AV tickets and drive resolutions through the Jira ticketing system. ● Assist with AV maintenance, management, and training for remote Uber offices. ● Create/Build on enduser resources and internal technical AV documentation. ● Assist with AV projects as determined by AV BuildOut. ● Provide white glove customer support to internal Uber employees when requested. ● Assist employees with realtime AV issues, often working under pressure and on tight deadlines. ● Communicate with AV vendors and manage AV equipment inventory. ● Remain calm under pressure and destress the situation through effective and communication and customer service.
Requirements ● 5+ years experience working with audio and video conferencing including system integration, commissioning, and enduser support ● Experience working in a corporate IT environment a plus ● Experience troubleshooting for Mac and Windows as related to video conferencing ● Familiarity with Crestron, Extron, Biamp, ClearOne manufacturers ● Experience with Crestron Toolbox and DSP profile management a plus ● Strong understanding of analog and digital signal flow; cable termination experience a plus ● Basic network understanding including TCP/IP, UDP, IP schemas. ● Familiarity with collaborative tools such as Zoom, WebEx, Google Drive ● Ability to quickly adapt to changing needs, infrastructure, and evolving business processes. ● Ability to work closely with the user community, interpret issues, understand requirements, and rapidly deploy solutions. ● Ability to work closely with crossfunctional teams including AV Eng/BuildOut, Facilities, and Events ● Ability to work with multifunctional teams and external vendors.
