Our client recently implemented a Managed Service Provider to manage its contingent workforce in The Netherlands. TAPFIN (Manpower) has been chosen as the MSP provider with Fieldglass as the supporting VMS tool. The company came from a complete decentralized situation with no centralized hiring process or policy. The MSP is in the end stage of implementation, where now additional support is required to manage and optimize the supply pool of the MSP until this is ready to be handed back over to the operation.
Supplier management of the MSP is governed by Sourcing in the spend area HR & Car Lease.
Descriptions of activities/deliverables - Responsible for well-described and thorough supplier management process, from onboarding to supplier QBR’s. - Develop any required standards and templates for contracts, communication, intranet, etcetera - Alignment with HR, Tax and the MSP about supply base requirements with regards to HR policy, process and compliance - Develop consolidated alignment with the hiring managers (users) who are very fragmented and decentralized - Ensure all business requirements for talent can be met through the suppliers in the supply base - Optimize the supply base to ensure best in class delivery at the most cost efficient way - Set up quarterly business reviews - Align with the MSP to implement a pool of approved independent contractors to ensure direct sourcing - Develop and implement cost saving initiatives - Develop and maintain reporting/dashboard And all other activities to optimize MSP supplier management
Our client is a large, international player in specialty chemicals.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills; partnership approach, ability to align and collaborate at all levels, pro-active communication style (no desk manager) - Project management skills/experience: a structured approach to handle a complex project and environment - Experience in supplier management, preferably in a MSP environment of similar scope and complexity - General knowledge of Dutch laws and regulations related to hiring contingent labor - Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) in English in Dutch - Main location is HQ in Arnhem. Travel to HQ Amsterdam, other sites, suppliers and Manpower will be required. - No international travel required
