Drive the development and use of our product portfolio, creating short, mid and long-term growth opportunities, employing product management insights, to scale value propositions across customers and regions, effectively manage product maturity optionality, incl. pricing tactics and new product development based on gap analysis
Steer segment business, as per specific profitable growth strategy and marketing plan, exploring go-to-market partnerships along the value chain, and customer/channel lifecycle management to deliver against business targets/KPIs
Bring in-depth customer and value chain insight and foresight to fuel sound understanding of market and customer needs, as robust input into (open) innovation and portfolio management. Provide sales tools to deeper penetrate customers and value chain, e.g. innovation roadmap. Strengthen thebrand awareness and positioning, with creative Marcom and PR
Responsible for marketing input into innovation stage gate process, esp. scoping, market-back biz case, commercial preparation and launch, e.g. validated value propositions, forward marketing to brands and tiers to create new product markets and value pricing, as well as back-to-back pilot projects to proof new concepts. Occasionally, leading innovation projects and their cross-functional teams.
Build and maintain a network of external contacts/sources within relevant ecosystem and value chain.
Foster a culture of External Orientation and Multi-Functional Collaboration with Speed.

The IdealYou have/are
Master degree, preferably in Marketing or Business Management (University or MBA).
Preferably 10 years of experience in the field of Marketing, Business Development, or Sales
Preferably chemicals, ideally coatings background or work experience, ideally in wood & furniture industry
Solid knowledge of marketing and product management tools and concepts
Change agent with solid outside-in perspective
Drive for results and business acumen
Having worked multiple years in an international, complex matrix organization.
Very good command of English, and preferably a second language like Dutch.
Ideally international work experience, pref. North America or China
Able and willing to travel around 30% of the time (international).
