The SBA (Senior Business Analyst) Role is an amazing opportunity created in a brand NEW Business Intelligence and Analytics Department within the RTG EMEA Commercial Excellence Organization. As BA, you will be responsible for QA (Quality Assurance) and testing, you will partner with the Associated Business Analyst during the development and roll-out the RTG EMEA Business Intelligence capability and analytics suite, ensuring that the data and management information requirements are met and available to the business. You will be our data quality and data reporting GURU, making sure that our deliverables are following the highest standard of excellence and driving business satisfaction.
Work closely with the other Business Analyst in order to convert the key stakeholders business requirements and needs into technical specifications that deliver the agreed outputs
Work closely with the DBAA (Database Architect and Administrator) to ensure that the data is accurate and following the highest standards of excellence
Design ad-hoc reports and analytics (obtain information from internal and external sources, assess the value and provide actionable insight).
Perform Quality Assurance tests (daily/monthly/quarterly) on the Analytics Suite
Refresh the Analytics Suite on a daily/monthly/quarterly basis
Monitor data integration and reporting anomalies and make adjustments as required
Responsible for robustness for all deliverables from BI (reports, dashboards, etc.) to ensure that the value being generated is relevant and current
Design and produce SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) for the recurring analytics/reports
Own data quality for both the raw data as well as the integrity of the calculations used for Measures
Responsible for overseeing and troubleshooting complex data cleansing, identify the reasons for problems, failures and malfunctions and develop optimal solutions
Identify data communication and information management issues and opportunities, analyze problems and alternatives and develop sound conclusions and recommendations
Complete sales projects efficiently and in accordance with Medtronic’s quality standards, while troubleshooting unexpected system problems
Research into analytical insight for growth and performance – show data correlation to performance, growth, profitability, etc.
Must keep up to date with industry best practices and latest trends in BI & Analytics and incorporate them into the methodology at Medtronic
Work cooperatively with customers in a responsive, helpful, courteous and tactful manner.

BA in Business, Management, Economics, Statistics, Information science or similar.
Fluent in English, written and spoken
3-10 years of experience in hands-on analytical role with a focus on analyzing business problems and making product and feature recommendations
Excellence Knowledge of MS Access and MS Excel, Webi, Tableau and/or Salesforce.com
Database background with excellent query skills (SQL)
Knowledge in RDBSM (Relationship Database Management System)
Ability to communicate complex quantitative analyses and business needs in a clear, precise, and actionable manner to diverse audiences
Strong analytics, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities

Starting salary: €2500 - €4500 a month(40-hour work week), The salary depends on your age and years of experience in a simular role.
28 holidays based on your worked hours a year and 8% holiday money
Travel expenses are partially covered (€0.19 cent pro km. and max. €7,60 a day)
