This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced planner/buyer who will focus on short 12 week cycled "new product introductions". Focus is on Clinical material, not commercial so someone with some clinical exposure could be interesting for this role as well. Communication is key, so it must be a naturally gifted communicator with ideally Project Management experience. We are looking for 32 (min) to 36 hours (max) per week for this role.
This is a one year assignment with longer-term possibilities.
The Large Molecules (LM) New Product Introduction (NPI) Planner Specialist will ultimately be responsible for co-ordination and execution of all end to end activities to ensure full availability of raw materials and components within a challenging clinical environment. Role include the coordination and completion of targets assigned by NPI project manager on requested time, within budget and within scope.
Deliver Raw Materials and Components on time and within the specification provided by NPI Project Manager/Team. Contribute to the global balancing of Materials and Components within Global Planning, ensuring efficient and effective procurement & inventory practices and optimizing the balance between quality, service, reliability and cost. Ensure that all material delivery schedules are communicated to NPI project core.
Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor and summarize progress of needed steps to succeed on material availability.
Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project
Liaises with variety of key internal and external stakeholders to clarify potential plan constraints and interfaces between them to ensure issue resolution.
Interfaces with Quality and Warehouse staff regarding rejected / defective materials, making the necessary physical arrangements with the supplier to ensure a prompt return of goods or disposal.
Executes potential deviations to the plan assessing with the suppliers the feasibility of the changes, rapidly highlighting to the affected internal stakeholders if the changes are not possible.
Liaises with warehouse staff to understand and adhere to space constraints, managing inventory levels within agreed targets.
Effectively partner with all internal and external business partners.
Focuses on process development and standardization cross platform, encouraging continuous improvements (CI) of the process supported.
Connect with Planning team to ensure seamless flow of information and ensure a fully integrated approach to delivering key metrics – Customer Service, Inventory, and Cost.
Develop and project-manage regional and global programs to deliver continuous improvement in KPI’s.

Minimum Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management or other related Business discipline is essential.
Master’s Degree is preferred
Supply Chain Certification is preferred e.g. APICS.
Lean Certification is desirable.
A minimum of 5 years relevant Supply Chain Management experience (Planning, Logistics or Manufacturing) is required.
Experience in Planning/Purchasing in a multi-national environment.
Experience in Pharmaceutical and/or Biopharmaceutical industry preferable.
Experience in the use of SAP is preferred.
Project Management experience preferable.
This is a one year assignment with longer-term possibilities. 32 or 36 hours per week. Salary indication €3000 - €4000 per month, based on a 40 hour working week.
