Over de functie

For our European Customer Service Center located in the area of Breda we are currently looking for a fulltime:

Operations Coordinator.

The main goal of this rol is to manage forecasts in order to create suitable purchase order, maintain contact with vendors and making analyses and statistical calculations 

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Create purchase orders based on analysis of historic data, system forecast, safety stock and lead times
  • Escalate issues with regards to purchase order creation and/or vendor management to teamleader
  • Maintain contact with vendors and logistics department with regards to ETA of purchase orders, receipt of goods in warehouse, stock accuracy and correct data management
  • Cancel or reschedule purchase orders if vendor has no stock and adjust shipping method based on parts urgency
  • Check system interface with vendor and post GR messages
  • Answer first line questions from sales subsidiaries / product group management and escalate complex questions/issues to team leader
  • Visit sales subsidiaries and authorized service centers in order to build/maintain relationships
  • Execute daily analysis of backorder situation per subsidiary and product group
  • Receive and validate claims and release credit notes
  • • Analyze claims in order to observe trends

Our ideal candidate would suit the following profile:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Logistics/Supply Chain management
  • 0 - 3 years working experience
  • Proficient in English
  • Skilled in MS Office and ERP system

Furthermore you have a high level of analytical skills and experience with statistical calculations. You like system and process tasks. Your attitude can be described as flexible and hands-on, which is required in the dynamic, challenging and high performance work environment which our client offers. We we are looking for a team player who is result- and solution oriented and able to work independently. You have excellent communication skills and cultural understanding. This is also an excellent opportunity to learn a lot inside an international environment for someone who just graduated or is about to. 


  • Salary between €2300 and €2600
  • 24 paid days off per year
  • Flexible working hours  
  • Good pension scheme
  • The vacation bonus is eight percent of the bruto (year) salary.
